Niche Men’s Clothing Store, Love and Greed, to Open in Downtown Toronto

TORONTO, ON – Love and Greed, a new men’s clothing store offering made-to-measure office and weekend wear, will be opening in Toronto at the end of June. The shop, inspired by New York City’s innovative fashion scene, aims to educate men on style, fit and the fabrics used to make the premium clothing carried in store.

The shop will offer high-end suits and dinner jackets made from fine Italian, American and Japanese fabrics. It will also carry Japanese-made selvage denim and work jackets; American-made shoes, bottoms and tops; and a variety of premium clothing accessories such as hats, socks and shoes. New York clothing brand Alexander Nash will be offered exclusively at Love and Greed along with other select brand names that are either difficult to find in the city of Toronto or not available in Canada.

The store’s interior is being conceptualized and designed by Paul of Smash, Toronto’s best salvaged and reclaimed furniture store. One-of-a-kind, vintage furnishing and décor will provide a classic setting in the main showroom as well as the underground whisky bar, which will cater exclusively to Love and Greed customers.

Shop owner, Sunny Bansal, says he wants the store to be a place where men can not only try on great clothes, but also relax and enjoy a great glass of whisky. Ultimately, Sunny’s goal for Love and Greed is that it will become Toronto’s one-stop shop for fashion-forward men. Rather than jeans and t-shirts, men will find the premium tuxedo pants, shirts, dinner jackets and shoes for any occasion.

About

Love and Greed is owned and operated by Sunny Singh Bansal. His interest in fashion and tailored casual clothing was heavily influenced by his grandfather, a man Sunny says is the best-dressed person he’s ever known. He created Love and Greed in order to encourage men to invest in their image and themselves. Sunny’s belief is that in order to love someone else you must first love yourself. This is the basis of Love and Greed; it’s a place where men learn to love their look, themselves, and then others.
